Every time I write to you

    My world spins…foward

    I can hear a turning …

A rumble of a giant cosmic wheel

Turning out a moment of  fate

Like a spider weaves his web

    Cotton into thread

We dancers on the woven pattern of life.

    Valentines Day ….

    reflections on relationships

In my experience a conscious relationship…

unfortunately is still just a theoretical possibility

but as novelty is an inherent quality of the nature of the universe

i have not yet ruled out the chance

Allowing a relationship to be your spiritual practice may involve a careful balance,

One hinged on presence, yet still, almost paradoxically,

provides some level of nurturing for the ego

You have to let the big dog out to run and play  ….

    so to speak

other wise it will be a distraction

    sometimes at inopportune moments

when you really don’t need it to show up!!

In the interwoven threads of relationships
when the balance between the reality of presence
and the mind  games of the ego
get out of balance a relationship becomes unstable….

the lack of presence in you or in your partner
    is robbed

by the drain of attention given to the temporal mind identified ego …
If you or your partner doesn’t understand this,

then you cannot see past the choice you don’t understand

however if one  does understand that  presence is a choice
and chooses not to be present with your partner
    intentionally
even if you “stay” with your partner

your  choice is to walking the path of life alone.

     Rumi-

    “Lovers don’t suddenly

    find each other,

    they realize that

    they were in each other

     all along”
