“North Korea claims to have nuclear weapons but has not conducted any known test that would confirm that assertion….

    The thing that changed

A June report from the Washington-based Institute for Science and International Security said:

The North had enough radioactive material to build between

    four and 13 bombs.”

For those of you who have forgotten your German

    let me help you remember

“I now ask the German people

    to strengthen my faith

and to give me through the strength of it’s will

the strength I need to continue to fight courageously

    at any time

for it’s honor and it’s freedom,

and to be able to further it’s economic prosperity.

I ask it particularly to support me

    in my struggle for

    true peace.”

  • Tipping my hat to you.. you most certainly know how to use graphics to make a point…and i agree with you on this one…nothing new going on..

  • I work with people that have been through the second world war…and I hear a lot of their stories and what they had to suffer…still…a lot of them fight [literally] for nationalism bullshit!Isn’t it amazing???

    PD-So proud of you:lol::lol:

  • I always love stopping by your site~very profound & intellectual writings~!!!

    Wishing you a musical & magical day~!!!

  • Once in all our lives, we each should attempt a pilgrimage to the Great Wall of Llama.

  • when i was watching my western movie yesturday it had a group of chinesse women in it that didn’t speak english….  so the main man character desided to name them all numbers.  when he got to the fourth woman she screamed and carried on about how she didn’t want to be four.  four was a death sentence.  it was unlucky.  maybe the 4 and 13 were deliberately picked numbers in order to scare people.  4 for the east and 13 for the west.  just a thought.

  • i love the way we tried to prove they had a nuke, and now that they have, were trying to say they don’t and it was a dud. remember a thing called MAD, mutually assured destruction, i think if your neighbor has a nuke, you should have a nuke. i say, free nukes for everyone.

  • I just clinked on the link to you tube. the clip reminds me of theold recruitment ads versus the new ones..( from the forties)….Now the military appeals to cozy sentiment like family and honor when they recriut but there was a time when they were more open about what they want people to do…and it is not a walk in the sunshine..no matter what country you are ” protecting ” It does not mean I think soldiers are not motivated by honor… but what thet find themselves dealing with is universally horrific.

  • IF the world didn’t come to an end when those devils in China and Russia got the bomb, it sure as hell was gonna be over when Pakistan and India got one…reminds me of the Supreme Court—”pedagogues” get appointed and all of a sudden they’re RATIONALLY interpreting the Constitution:eek:

Mutually assured destruction seems to make madmen sane:fun:

  • Like the old Joni Mitchell song, we go “round and round and round in a circle game.”

It has been theorized that the Fall of the Roman Empire was an amalgamation of three factors: Lead, Laziness and Self-Absorption. There is nothing new under the Sun and Absolute Power corrupts and still it corrupts absolutely. Fear and ignorance of the citizenry will always open the door, coupled with complacency.

Herman Goerring at the Nuremberg trials: “It is always simply a matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. The people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the peacemakers for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same in any country.”

He might have added, any era.

    Peace~

  • there will always be wars, yes? man is a dreary creature mostly. :spinning:

  • And then in our far future will there be a man of Pastor Niemoller’s caliber who can say the things about our present administration that he said about his condition ?

  • did you find your baby? I am at the freaking library again cuz my yahoo wont work at home and it is irritating as hell  when people are so freakin rude that they cant be quiet.:wha: i wont to comment more but this is about as private as being on center feild in a broncos game  ill get back when i can.

  • RYC Staying up all night when one can is a treat…unless of course one has a tooth ache…or something…to see the very first light is to see the earth turn:)

  • I find the number of parallels and propaganda styles between George W. Bush and Hitler more than just a little frightening.

  • Yep the messages  Dovetail

    like jet fighters flying formation

    at an airshow
