Rather by accident I came across these words I had written long ago and perhaps now we should once more examine them
We are not here Just to party ... There is a guiding force within and without that weaves us together in a common goal.
"If our society seems more nihilistic than previous societies, perhaps it is a sign of our maturity as a sentient species. As our collective consciousness expands beyond a crucial point we are at last ready to accept life’s fundamental truth. That life’s only purpose is life itself." 
To know this as self-evident reality is enlightenment.
"We are not here because we are free. We are here because we are not free." 
This is not meant on a spiritual level where we can in fact find freedom. No, it is meant on the level of causality.
Action and reaction, cause and effect...we seek to deny it, but that denial is pretense, it is a lie. On the physical level of our existence we are in fact slaves to it.  But there is Hope...Hope that is purpose...a Why.
"Why is the only real source of power and without it you are powerless".
So what is that purpose, What is that why.....I hear you say? 
We are here to LIVE and keep alive the unbroken, 3.5 billion year old chain of life.
We are the guardians of life on this planet but we have forgotten.
In our hurry to advance we so often forget, we do this as individuals in our every day lives, and so it is with the species.
Our purpose is veiled.
Yes, you can feel it...... you know deep within you that this purpose has reality.
We have been given the divine power to create. To paint the world as we would make it.. 
The paint brush manifests as our desires, and the canvas is the "field"upon which we create. We have the potential power for the "spontaneous fulfillment of desire in an infinite field of pure potentiality." And that is true POWER found only in the felt moment of immediate experience.
What is the painting you might ask? That my brothers and sisters, my sons and daughters, Is something we all need to know. What kind of world have we painted today! 
Is this why we write, paint, compose, sing and dance? To create a world that is so filled with misery and sorrow? Is our creativity, that flows from be-ing, what drives our lives? Or is our mind filled with worry and fear? 
is curiosity compelling us to explore to seek new knowledge... Or is greed driving us to exploit nature 
Are we players and creators experiencing joy in this game of life... Or are we competing to win out, pitted against one another as individuals! 
Do we contribute in any way to the abundance of Life? Striving to keep the flame of life alive? 
Or, as a species, are we driven by an archetypical desire ---- To dominate and rule over nature? 
What desires control us in our daily actions? 
Are we living deeply rooted in harmony with nature? Or do we struggle to exist in a hostile world, alone isolated and fearful?
Is this our Purpose?
The light has not vanished from the world but it is fading...you can see it faintly. 
It surrounds us invisibly but it is there, often obscured but noticeable when it is expressed objectively. How wonderfully and symbolically the Olympics capture our Spirit. The passing of the torch in the opening ceremony is a physical representation that embodies this "knowing". The undying flame of the Olympic spirit is spread from individual to individual down throughout time. The thing that unites the majority of the people on this planet is not a coincidence. The Olympics are synchronistically showing us the path.
The stories you have heard are true. 
We face a future of unparalleled events that can only be described
as catastrophies of and, even biblical proportions. Is not the intention for which we have our so-called "intelligence" to recognize the threat and prevent these catastrophes from occurring?  It is unconscious to believe that our technological development as a sentient species is mere coincidence. Our deep desire to reach the stars? Only a way to make money? It is more far more!
Believe me when I say, " We have a difficult time ahead of us." but, if we are to be prepared for it, we must first shed our fear of it. 
We must be aware of it in our every moment, and without the noose of fear and ignorance imposing limits on our imagination.
The imagination, purposely evolved through billions of years of intention, is our greatest strength as a species. It is nothing less than our intuitive link with the universal consciousness that is the organizing field of all of creation.
I write this to you today truthfully because I am afraid of what is to come. 
Why? Because I believe something that you do not? NO!!!! As 2012 draws ever closer, people are waking up to the truth. When the Comander in Chief of a nation at war wins the Nobel Peace Prize, it is grossly apparent that we have a problem!
I write here today, afraid, BECAUSE I REMEMBER!
I remember that WE are here to Live the path that lies ahead.
I remember that WE are here because of the unbroken chain of past lives that brought us to this moment.
I remember that WE as humans have lived here for 2 million years.
And I remember that We as mammals have led the way for over 62 million years.
And I remember that We, as life on this planet, stretch back 3 billion years into the past.
The REALITY IS.... That unbroken chain of life that is We, is now at risk !
That organization of information and energy that has bound us throughout the Eons: cell to cell, parent to offspring, Mother & Father transforming into Daughter and Son. 
The thread of life that is our purpose: that binds us, that guides us, that unites us
Is now in the hands of an Insane species, out of control and totally clueless as to WHY everything is going wrong!
The only Truth ....Is that which is happening here and now... Stop and really look at what we have become!
We are free in each moment if we choose to experience life as fully present, conscious be-ings.
Free from the illusion of time. Free from the historical momentum of a past that seems to compel us to fight our brothers and sisters Free from a future we imagine only filled with threats that blind us to the one path of peace. 
You and I, as individuals cannot be free of choices we do not understand until we realize that a potential force, of unimaginable power, exists at rest within each one of us 
Awakened ...Like a clensing fire, it can sweep the globe, and in that moment reunite all of mankind. The key is knowing that our individual purpose is knowing ourselves. The urgency you feel is real... The time for waiting is over.
What will you do with that freedom today? 
We will not have the luxury of dying old, and comfortably in our beds
surrounded by our children, thinking that Jesus will save us... If we do not change our selves now, this day, this moment we will live to see the end of our civilization. 
People will realize it soon enough and begin to cast blame everywhere: on governments, on large corporations, on religious factions, and even on powerful individuals. But, we will be totally missing the point. 
These entities exist because we create them from the level of consciousness from which we choose to live, We will all know that our time has run out....and ironically be correct. The fundamental mistake -- that the past and future are more important than the present moment -- points directly to the insane human condition that is destroying the planet: THE COLLECTIVE HUMAN EGOIC CONSCIOUSNESS. 
That same mindset that ran our world when Jesus was nailed to the cross.... 
and still rules our world today. I believe is it never too late to change the road we are on, but I am sincere when I say ... we can wait no longer ... Very soon, we will not even have time to think back, with regret, on the mistake we are making.
We have not yet even understood the choice we have been given. Despite what Jesus, and all the prophets have told us...we never quite got the point. We never believed one person could make a difference. We failed to take the necessary risk and say
