  this is my 48 year if 

  
  

  i were forced to count years

  
  

  To me my birthday is not about me

  
  

  but about my parents

  
  

  through their shared intention 

  
  

  I was given a door way to enter into this world

  
  

   and through their love and attention

  
  

   I grew and flourished
