there is a general consensus

that everything changes.

many would point out the rate of change itself is speeding up..

you can make the point with the event of a novelty

that is to say something “new” occurs

We  all have such personal events…

which are nice to experience

like ones first kiss  or

collectively as in emergence of the cell phone

The world as we know it was changed in ways we could never have predicted 

 

History …is often described by such novelties

the bronze age ..for instance or 

the discovery of the plow

 

today the event of a novelty is routine.

they happen all the time..

and if that is true enough then

novelty itself is no longer is novel

 

yet I would say to you

 

look until you find

that which does not change in you

and discover a quality of existance  

so many seek

and so few ever find
