I don’t write much anymore….and to some extent I consider that a failure to keep the dream alive.

These days I find myself so wrapped up in my own temporal egoic existence

that to leave it almost makes me insecure.

This is a most definite indication

that I am identifying with my mind

and lost to the insanity that inflicts the vast majority of mankind.

The sincere reality of this is that….

Identifying with ones thoughts = ego = insecurity = is a FATAL flaw

that if we follow it as species we will fall behind the reality of the moment and our existence will be relegated to a thin layer of disturbed soil in the fossil record.

We haven been given the greatest of gifts by our father

my father, your father the one from which all presence flows…

It is the light that creates order from chaos…life into being

Our own PRESENCE

and we do not understand ….or value or even realize the power that

IS …..is flowing thru us now …..much less how to use it …

to unite, bring peace and end suffering …..

let love become what we are…and not just a believe in our minds

but to live it …..

It is never to late to exchange the path we are on…but I tell you wait no longer…

The time for this change must begin Now….

as it has always been…

A few times in history we followed those who carried the light

and It was just enough to carry us thru some bad times …

and when the times improved we became comfortable and lost the path.

I write this not for you …actually it is for me to remember

a year from know if i am still alive I will read back and see if I even understand what I was telling myself…

and then I will know…

but you are welcome to come along for the ride

and if you hear the one …that is writing to you Now…

Then you will have taken the first step in awakening …

It’s  way past the time to start….in fact the starting gun went off long ago and we have fallen so far behind that the true experience of presence is no more that an idea in your minds…a believe at best and not what it truly is…

self evident reality…plain and simple …and right in  your face …all along

reach for it and no one can stop you from  gaining it…

I watch every day as the ones I love the most suffers from the insecurity which arises from the snares of egoic attachment.  You suffer so much, and it brings tears to my eyes.  You believe that you are the image of you that you hold in your mind.

 

But you are so much more than the mind can ever imagine. 

You are the witness of your thoughts, not the thinker, or the thoughts themselves. 

Yet the historical momentum of the egoic mind is enormous….

both for each of us individually, and for the entire species collectively. 

Who am I to stand before it and say,

Stop….awaken to the truth….we are free in each moment to decide

To love one another as the family we truly are …

each of us brothers and sisters, fathers, daughters and sons

but it is so comfortable just to pretend everything will be ok

don’t kid your self ….in fact stop lying to the one that matters most

YOU

 You pitiful creatures of self doubt……

Your own insecurity is the blanket you pull over you heads at night…to keep YOU safe

but that YOU is not your inner most self….

It is the illusion you have created to protect your self 

from the harsh realities of the egoic world we find ourselves in.

Sucks actually….but there you have it.

Drop the security blanket

Awaken to who you truly are!

And you will notice instantly,

all of your temporal problems and worries will vanish like dust in the wind.

Who am i to say these thing to you…

I am you

you are me

Place all of you intention in the felt moment of immediate experience

let go of the blanket….and see that it is the blanket itself that is keeping you from

experiencing the joy of being  

Now know this….I don’t want you to believe me…. or to read this and perhaps find a sort of tactic agreement.  That won’t change a damn thing. 

It is too late to set like a Post turtle..and do nothing.

(Post turtle — texas slang:  “Ya know when yer drivin down the road and ya come across a fencepost with a turtle balanced on top?  That’s a post turtle.  Ya know it didn’t get there by itself, it don’t belong there, it can’t get nothin done while it’s up there, and you just wanna help get the poor thang down.”)

[It is with some degree of amusement, no, actual terror, that I note that this term is being used to describe some of our political leaders.  Today's leaders pretend they know the way, and promise us change, but in fact they are mere puppets of the collective egoic consciousness, and the saddest thing is, they don't even know it.]

Everyone suffers from insecurity in one form or another.  Insecurity is the single, most harmful egoic delusions because it requires you to believe in the illusion of who you think you are.  Then, to make matters worse, it tells you that there is some fatal flaw in that model of what you believe about yourself.  You might as well shoot yourself in the foot and then try to get to work on time. 

Insecurity arises from the image you have of yourself in your mind.  Your intellect knows you are here only temporarily, a momentary being perhaps, if you are aware, but mortal all the same.  Your ego promises to keep you alive, but that is the great deception that lures us all into its grasp.  Because you see, the ego is part of the survival mechanisms of a biological system which was a necessary stage in our evolutionary development, but we must outgrow it if we are to ascend to the next level. 

It is that vert identification with the ego which prevents you from existing in the moment — and the moment is in fact one, indivisible, eternal moment.  Eternal life — in the moment — is your birthright as a child of the father and is always yours NOW if you will only stop listening to the constant babbling of the ego.   Of course the ego speaks of survival, but it is referring to survival of your physical body, the “mind-body complex”, and that is not who you truly are.  The key to eternal life is found by placing your attention in the felt moment of immediate experience.

Futhermore, the waste of attention given to the illusion of the ego is the waste of the vital energy you need to be aware of choice you have.  In my experience, it requires a lot of energy to stay present.  If you choose to put your attention (identification) on the ego, that means you have chosen, by your own authority and free will, to reject the presence that has been given to you by the father.  And that choice will surely lead to your death — death of the body.

Did he not say, over and over,

“Know these words.  Be what I am teaching, and you will not taste death”?

Yes, every single spiritual teacher worth mentioning has made the premise of momentary consciousness the fundamental apex of their teaching —

the one and only way to connect directly with God – that mystical, ethereal beingness,

which is the true escape from the egoic, biological cycle of birth, growth, and death.

Don’t seek God in the past, or look forward to finding God in the future when you die.  Rather, keep seeking until you find that his presence is already with us.

It’s funny, that those who would preach God’s words speak about him as if they knew what they were talking about.  The real truth is the meaning of “God” itself, through ages and ages of misuse, has lost all of its inherent authority.  God is not an image in our mind, nor can he ever be.

 Everyone seeks God, but no one seems to find him. 

 

Terance died before I could meet him…
