  • :coolman:   expect a little more rowdiness than usual D    have a great year  you expanded your knowledge base in a great way  :spinning:  b

  • those were funny.

  • This was awesome and funny…

  • :coolman::yes:

  • I am on the computer without sound..the one that lets me listen is in use by someone who is not listening to anything…but needs the scanner which is also not hooked to this old jalopy ,so instead of getting the humor here I will asume that I would if I could.
    I wish you students who tune in and remain open to the possiblity that they are a work in progress and thus can learn every day…I took from the math lesson in the previous post that following: 1.the value of a human life is not quantifiable ( despite the willful efforts of governments, and corporations of every type and ilk do so).
    2. we have allowed our ability to reduce living to an exchange of goods and services and lethal negotiations involving the destruction of people and their hope ,and thier physical world
    3 we seperate ourselves from our accountability by layers of deliberate ignorance which still if we pay attention evaporate like gas fumes each time we put said gas in our cars

    I am sure your students will be learning to think for themselves as well as to enjoy the many and varied uses of abstract reasoning:) :sunny:

  • A minute ago, I fell in love with Taylor Mali. Thank you for that.

  • I LOVE that taylor mali video.
    It’s on my youtube fav’s. :)

  • Thank you I appreciate that transcription. I came here to thank you and realized I am now on a computer with speakers so I got to listen too. He says it well. Teaching attracted me because it was challenging in a way that went beyond a mastery of skills and academic fluency.I remembered teachers that helped keep me from totally drifting off and disengaging…so I hope I passed that on somehow…
    The bottom clip cracked me up.. reminded me of Shakespeare’s play..A MidSummer Nights Dream , not for plot of course but for putting the term “a play on words” to such good (and funny ) use.

  • Wow! What an awesome compliment, from someone I admire. I haven’t seen you around in awhile…last I heard you were dealing with an ill Mom if I remember correctly. How is that going for you? Curious….have you ever wondered how your students precieve you? The ones that care about an education that is… I always thought the intimidating or mean spirited teachers shut my learning switch right off, while others flicked my interest on. Learning then became my own desire encouraged from the slightest gesture of caring humanity from some teachers. I’ll never forget them.

  • Thank you for sharing these videos~ :) ~and to make a difference, that is a thing of Grace.

    Dance in the Moonlight, my Friend Dosmangoes~
