Well now that was Interesting..
Friday evening I checked the fridge for something to eat
and thats always a kind of mystery
having two teens in the house…
The fridge is mostly picked clean
but as they tend to go out often
sometimes you get lucky and there are juicy restaurant left overs
So wow I thought this time I hit the jackpot
A huge bowl of…humm ?
some kinda oriental chicken with veggies
Sweet…of course I smelled it first…and it seemed ok
So i rolled the stuff in some flower tortillas
added a massively brave amount of eye watering wasabi
and popped them in the microwave…
and scarfed them down with a beer
just a few minutes after devoring my spicy hot wasabi laden repast
Alicia comes home…
“Dad” she asks
“Where is that bowl of chicken that was in the fridge”
“Ahh..I ate it Alicia .. were you saving that?” I say
“YOU ate it….(her expression …serious)
Dad I brought that home from moms ..for the coons to eat
We had that way.. over a week ago.”
Krike…
the rumbling started about 10 minutes after that
I survived the experience …
In hind sight … perhaps
the wasabe was my biggest mistake
I don’t know if you have had the experience of tasting wasabi
It has a wonderful flavor …but its HOT…very very Hot
It would hold it own with the strongest of jalapeno peppers
And from this experiment
I have to conclude
It does maintain its capacity to burn
long after being ingested

i remember the first time i had jalapenos on pizza i had a dream about volcanos erupting…hope you feel better soon :sunny:
that’s why i never eat left-overs. feel better.
:rolleyes: Wasabi also hid the nasty bacteria flavor you might have otherwise noticed. Gross Gross gross…….really. Buy a few cans of Spagettios or something…for these hunger emergencies. Those are gross, but nearly as gross.
yeah, the problem is, i always change the lists…..be it a life list, or a grocery store list or whatever…i get on my own nerves…lol
wish that yummy-sounding meal would have been a little more Kosher to eat! hope the eruptions have completely subsided!

ahaha well glad to hear youre still alive. yeesh, that must have been horrible.
I wonder if it would have been better if she hadn’t told you how old it was.:p:eek: I gagged just thinking about it. You would think the wasabi could annihilate the bacteria but then they are stubborn little devils. :eek: Hope it’s all “passed” through. :sunny:

wow and i mean WOW!
good thing we have too many cats and dogs so we never really have any leftovers. that was nasty. So glad you survived to share the experience. And yeah, i’ve tasted wasabi. was eating lunch at this sushi bar and my bf tricked me into eating it, saying it was avocado.
of course i didnt find it funny that time. he ended up going home alone that day. 
OMG…LOL… That’s Really Funny… Not that I’m laughing at you over this but, thats just
funny… Your choice of pix was great as well… I’ve not tried the HOT stuff but, I’ll
take your word that it retains it’s Hot even after being ingested… Food in the Fridge
Will not look the same, next time I do the old thing of, “This Looks Yummy”…!!!
