    yes!

    This is Pluto, Texas

Even though Pluto lost the status of being a planet,

The 50 or so residents of the rural Pluto, Texas,

    founded in 1894

    won’t likely change their style……

The hot Texas sun has baked the land

    all summer long

    making booming thermals

    in the drought stricken countryside

    Shimmer, indeed~

  • I took a picture of the sky tonight too. When i saw it with my eye it looked like a peice of the aurora? i dunno the name… came down to mississippi to visit. Lots of rainbow eridescent colors coming out from the top of a cloud. I got a picture but haven’t managed to look at it yet because i’ve been fighting all night with my bed. Long story…

  • I’ll try uploading it tomorrow. I can’t get to anything in my room right now.

  • aww..very pretty sunset! i love sunsets more than i do sunrises. sunsets tend to look a lot prettier, to me, anyway.

we’ve been having rains this week. today, especially the rain’s been naughty, teaisng me with the threat of saoking the clothes i hanged out to dry.

  • what a spectacular sunset… :coolman:

  • Is that you in a fighter jet over Pluto, Doug???? I love the sunset pic too – that shade of blue in the sky behind the clouds is awesome!

  • RYC: remaining sane in an insane bureaucracy – a challenge indeed. Unless chance crosses our paths again, I won’t know if David got out before it got to him. I keep my sanity knowing there are other things I want to accomplish in life. Take care, Doug, and thanks for stopping by.

  • RYC: sail plane… talk about being able to reach out and touch the face of God… must be an experience like no other!

  • Texas about to Dust Bowl it

  • Thanks for your comments…touched my heart and I wanted to cry but I swear I couldn’t find a tissue so I just tilted my head back and kept my tears from running all over my keyboard. Sniff Sniff….

    Have a nice evening.
